keepsake for mothers - a jewelry piece

Hi, mama. I’m Tiffany—and I’m the heart, hands, and soul behind Milky Way Breastmilk Jewelry. I’m not a big company or a production team—I’m just one woman, one mother, working out of my home studio to help other moms preserve the most meaningful moments of their journey.

Milky Way started with my own story. I had a breastfeeding journey full of ups and downs, tears and triumphs. There were days I felt like a superhero, and days I wanted to give up. But every drop, every snuggle, every feeding—whether hard-won or easy—became part of a story I didn’t want to forget.

I created my first breastmilk keepsake out of that desire: to hold on to a part of that season before it slipped away. I didn’t expect it to move me the way it did. And once I saw what it meant to me, I knew I wanted to offer that same gift to other mothers—keepsakes for mothers who had lived through their own beautiful, challenging, incredible stories.

Why I Do What I Do

When you place an order, it’s not going to a factory. It’s coming straight to me.

I’m the one who carefully opens your package, gently preserves your breastmilk, and turns it into something you can wear and cherish forever. I treat every order with respect and tenderness because I know how emotional and personal this is. I’ve been in your shoes—and it’s an honor to walk with you through this process.

Breastmilk jewelry isn’t just “pretty.” It’s powerful. It tells the story of late-night feedings, sore shoulders, pumping at work, mastitis battles, those precious bonding moments… and the thousands of little decisions you made to show up for your baby. It represents you—your effort, your strength, your love.

Why Choose a Breastmilk Keepsake?

Mothers choose this type of keepsake for so many different reasons—and every single one of them is valid and beautiful.

Some moms want to honor the journey: the long nights, the sacrifices, the physical and emotional commitment that breastfeeding demands.

Some are closing a chapter: maybe their baby has weaned, or maybe it didn’t go the way they’d hoped, but they still want to remember the love that was poured out in every feeding.

Some moms are celebrating a hard-earned victory: maybe they overcame low supply, tongue ties, or pumping at work to keep going one more day.

And some are grieving: for a child they lost, for a journey that ended too soon, for a version of motherhood they longed for but didn’t get.

This kind of keepsake isn’t just about the milk—it’s about preserving the meaning behind it. It’s about saying, “This mattered.” It’s about holding on to a moment in time that changed you forever.

Keepsakes for mothers like this are tangible proof that you gave, you endured, you loved. And that matters more than most people will ever understand.

What to Expect

The process is super simple:

  1. Pick your piece – I offer rings, pendants, earrings, and other timeless designs.

  2. Send your milk – I’ll give you instructions on how to safely send just 15ml.

  3. Choose your details – You can customize your piece with shimmer, birthstones, dried flowers, baby hair, or engraving.

  4. Let me work my magic – I’ll carefully preserve your milk and handcraft your jewelry, keeping you updated every step of the way.

  5. Receive your keepsake – It’ll arrive in beautiful packaging, ready to wear, gift, or treasure.

Every single piece is handmade by me with love and care—nothing is mass-produced. No two stones look exactly the same, because no two journeys are the same.

It’s More Than Jewelry

Over time, I’ve had the privilege of creating pieces not just for breastfeeding milestones, but for moments of loss, joy, and healing.

Some moms send milk after weaning. Some send milk after saying goodbye to their baby far too soon. Some don’t have breastmilk, but want to include ashes, dried flowers, or hair from a first haircut.

I also offer keepsakes for mothers using umbilical cord pieces, placenta powder, or other meaningful materials. These pieces become heirlooms—little reminders that even the hardest seasons were filled with deep, powerful love.

This Is For You

I know how easy it is to pour everything into your family and forget to honor yourself. But mama, your story is worth remembering. You are worth celebrating.

Whether your journey looked just how you hoped—or not at all—this jewelry is for you. Whether you breastfed for two years, two months, or just a few drops, you’re enough. Your love matters. Your story matters.

Creating keepsakes for mothers like you has become my calling. I don’t take it lightly. Every time I start a new piece, I remind myself that I’m holding part of your heart in my hands. I’ll take good care of it.

From One Mama to Another

If you’re ready to freeze time in a small, beautiful way—to hold on to something fleeting and sacred—I’d be honored to make something for you. You don’t need a perfect story. You just need your story.

Thank you for trusting me with it.
